I am looking for a good dental insurance plan. Can anyone help me out?

I need something that will cover cleanings once a year for me and my husband only. Also I may need to get my wisdom teeth taken out. Should I pay out of pocket or invest in a dental plan?
--------------------
I would encourage you to visit this website: www.healthsavings.ourperfectcard.com I signed up online about 3 years ago now for all my dental work. They have saved me thousands throughout the years from Root Canals, extractions, exams, x-rays, cleanings…etc. All services are included in this very affordable plan. They even had my benefits active in 2 hours and able to use them the same day. Good Luck and Hope the Helps.

Can they take out for medical/dental/disability insurance on a severance check?

I was recently laid off. I received my last paycheck almost immediately, but had to wait awhile to get my two weeks severance check. Are they allowed to take out medical, dental, life insurance, disability on my SEVERANCE check? I understood all that on my last paycheck, but it doesn't make sense to me on the severance check. Please let me know if this is legit. I really need to deposit this check to pay rent, but I don't want to if they are doing something wrong.
--------------------
Yes, they can. Severance is often considered time worked, so you are technically still covered during the severance period and normally will still be expected to pay your share. It only becomes an issue if you have a denied claim during that period (rare).

What should I go with, a Discount Dental Plan or Dental Insurance?

My fiance comes from a not so wealthy background or family and is having huge issues because her wisdom teeth have started to come in finally. She does not have Dental insurance and can't afford it but she needs the wisdom teeth extracted as they are impacted and causing severe pain in her jaw. I was looking at dentalplans.com and noticed these "discount dental plans" where it offers discounts on the costs of the procedures instead of just normal dental insurance. Are these legitimate? Or are they just not worth it?

By google to collect some related information or you may try using answer engines like yahoo answer or yedda.com to get some related ideas.nonetheless,If you prefer some direct resource, here http://www.insuranceidea.info/free-insurance.htm is a good one from my own experience.

on average, what is the monetary value of dental insurance to an employee compared to salary?

if i earn 200k with fully paid family medical but no dental, what would be the equivalent salary of someone that had a family dental package included in their compensation? should i go out and buy my own dental coverage for a family of four?
--------------------
Private dental coverage usually runs around $30 a month. Maybe it would cost your employer, $20 a month. Negligible, with your salary. Because of all the limitations, copays, deductibles, etc, I've never seen a private policy that pays out more than it costs. This is a good example of you being able to "self insure" for your family's dental coverage. It's not going to be worth it for you to pay, say, $50 a month for a family plan, that's going to actually pay out less than $500 a year.
