I am looking for low cost dental and vision insurance. Currently reside in Georgia and wanted to know if any?
Was looking at Humana but wanted to find out what other companies were out there. If you can please tell me why you chose the company you are currently with.

I used to have dental insurance, but canceled when I signed for this discount program. It gave me almost 50% to 80% off regular dental stuff which is about what I would pay even if I had insurance.. but I don't have to pay the $50 a month for the insurance. It's 20 bucks, and it gives me dental coverage, vision, prescription and chiropractic. And it's 20 bucks for anyone living in my house. Dental insurance bundles service?
I had a Crown put in. The dentist billed the insurance two seperate procedures: a.Core Build-up b. Porcelain Crown. But the insurance says the core build-up is included in the bundled Crown price. So they only paid for the Crown. Question: Should the dentist bill me for the core build-up? Considering the insurance has paid for the bundled service, is that a double charge?

Those are two seperate procedures, two seperate fees, and two seperate procedure codes, so you haven't been 'double-charged'. The insurance company probably doesn't cover core buildups, as some don't. I've never heard of a 'bundled crown price'... You could always as the dental office to resubmit the core fee, only this time send an xray and a narrative as to why the core was needed. If it gets denied again, you'll be responsible for the core fee. Good Luck! :)

You'll have to go to the ER and they will either give you antibiotics for the infection if you have one, or pull the tooth. The ER doesn't do root canals or fillings I'm afraid. They can also give you pain meds.

Does dental insurance usually pay for veneers?
Usually? Or is that considered a luxury? They also wouldn't usually pay for teeth whitening, or would they? (Yes, I know it depends on my insurance. I'm just asking, in general do they?)

Which dental insurance if best AFLAC Premier or AARP Plan B. Trying to decide which insurance to go with.?
Signed up for AFLAC Premier today but do not like the wait periods. Checking since I am over 50 is AARP dental insurance would be the best way to go. I would be purchasing a family.

What do i do if i don't have Dental Insurance?
The job i work at doesn't offer insurance and i would like to get my teeth fixed. I am missing a tooth right in front and need to get an implant. I'm sick of not ever wanting to take pictures and smile in general. What do i do? Where do i go? If it helps i'm from Des Moines, Iowa.
