My medical insurance will end at the end of the month. And the dental covers 1500$ of braces. I could get this now, but I'd have to put another 1500 of my own money to pay the full 4500-5000 for braces. Should I get this now? or wait til I get a new job?

1500 + 1500 = 3,000. NOT 4500 - 5000. xxx

Does anyone know of low cost or free Dental care?
We live in Norhwest Ohio, and my 21 year old son has really bad teeth and needs dentures. However, he does not have insurance through his job and can't afford to pay for them himself.I am really worried about the health affects from his teeth. So, does anyone in Ohio know of free or low cost dental care or any organizations that can help pay?

Check with local colleges. If there is a dental program, they might be able to get him in, little to no cost. Usually long waits though, if he can wait.

dental plans, and being able to afford the treatment?
If one was to have dental insurance and under went a dental procedure could he work out a payment plan with his dentist, instead of paying the lump some all at once?
--------------------
Some dentists will do this. They might have a loan company they work with. If it is just a regular dentist they might let you do this, but make you pay off the bill before they do the treatment.

Is it possible for a person on workman's comp to get dental coverage from the Carrier?
I have no insurance, but the coverage for the injury I recieved at the work place, which is for a lower back injury. The carrier does provide me with a bi-weekly check, but I discovered that the dental work I need will cost over $3000 dollars. I also would appreciate it if someone out there can also answer this other question: I have recently moved from New York to Pennslyvania, and finding a doctor to continue treatment has been difficult. Thus, I have been traveling to and from the doctor's in NY. to continue treatment as well as benefits. My question is it possible to have the carrier pay for a rental because my car will not last if I drive back and forth for once a month. Please help me out!

Workers' Comp insurance is for injuries that you sustain from an accident while working or traveling to and from your job. If the injuries sustain effected you dental work, then possibly yes, if the injury was soft tissue to another part of your body, then no. With regards to your car, if your car was damaged within the scope of your employment, you would have to check with your auto insurance carrier to ascertain coverage for a rental. If you receive a settlement from your Workers' Comp Claim, you can use the money any way you please.

can i cancel my health insurance?
I signed up for dental and medical insurance for a year paying twice a year, which I figured means for 6 months. I payed the $760, which I figured would be the payment the second time too. But, I got a bill after 5 months for $920. They said it was 760 before, because it was only 5 months, but now it will be 6. I feel like they screwed me, what can I do?

Where can you go for cheap dental work near Toronto, canada?
For someone that has no health insurance and needs a bridge / implant or crown who normally resides in Toronto - which nearby countries are recommended for both a nice relaxing holiday and a chance to have such dental work done and what are the sort of likely costs involved? Looking at places that are not too expensive to reach by plane - so mainly consider Mexico, Brazil, Chile, etc.

Try to visit a Dental School around your area, they need patients for their Dental students. Usually the cost for treatment is a fraction of what you would pay at a regular dentist. Example: Cost of a Crown at a regular dentist: $750.00. Cost of a Crown at a Dental School: $202.00 Good Luck
