My boss is an insurance agent, and asked me to research this question. I thought Yahoo! Answers might be a good place to start eh? He heard a lot of people grow their commissions revenue by buying/acquiring other's book of business. He and I are looking mainly for Health Life AD&D LTD STD Dental LTC Preferably GROUP cases. Email me if you would, or some links to useful websites would be very much appreciated!

Tell your boss, to subscribe to local area trade mags, and your state independent agency magazine. Those are the places where you find agencies and books for sale.

How much money will I make after texes/insurancse?
I live in minnesota and I just got a job where I will be making $34,000 anually. My health/dental/life insurance will cost me about $85 per month. How much money can I expect to make after all of the taxes/insruance costs? Thank you

You didn't mention whether or not you are married or have dependents. But here's an estimate. $34,000 / 12 = $2833 per mo. gross pay. $2833 - $85 for insurance = $2748 7.65% FICA and Medicare 20% approximate federal income tax 6.07% average state income tax $2748 X 34% = $934 $2748 - $934 = $1814 Your net pay will be in the neighborhood of $1814 per month. Your weekly take home will be about $418, give or take.

Dental Care in Houston, Texas?
Does anyone know if there are any Dental Clinics In Houston,TX for ppl who don't have insurance? If so, please let me know.

Since you don't have ins. have you looked in to discount health benefits? The company is based out of Dallas Tx, they have a large provider base that would help you save money at the dental clinics and it is perfect for someone who is uninsured or underinsured. The monthly fee is very reasonable, and the savings are great! Check out this wesite for more info. www.everyonebenefits.com/trodgers

Do you really need a second molar? Is it worth the money to have it replaced?
I had my lower right 2nd molar extracted last month and am going to have the lower left 2nd molar extracted as well. One of the uppers 2nds needs a crown, the other upper a filling. The dentist recommended getting an implant to replace the two lower missing teeth, but my insurance will only cover the crown and not the titanium post or ( will cost about 5000-6000 total for both which my insurance will cover at most 1000). My insurance also caps out at 1000 so my normal dental work will fill that anyway so I am really looking at 5000-6000. I am 32 and going to the dentist from here on out. Better late than never I guess. I have been eating just fine without it am wondering if it is really necessary. I don't have a gap as it is my furthest back tooth. I am thinking a more cost effective way to handle this is to have have the other lower pulled and let them be for now. no implants. When the time comes, have the uppers extracted. This would leave me with 24 healthy teeth.

Find an insurance broker and they'll go through your options and sell you the plan. They'll also be able to help you at claim time. Insurance brokers are free and aren't paid by you...they're paid by the insurance company. Look up '(your state) health insurance broker" in a search engine for starters. I also have links on my site to brokers in each state.
