Well, it's not possible to have affordable RENT and UTILITIES if you're not employed!! So. Life insurance depends on your age and health. If you're healthy and 30, you can get 20 year term, $250,000 for about $150 a year. I've never seen a plan where they pay out more than they take in. There are LOTS of loopholes - limitations of coverage, massive copays, and waiting periods, so you're better off paying for dental stuff out of pocket.

Dental Insurance coverage, Who has the best plan?
I have a problem right now with my teeth, need two root canal and 7 cavities, which the dentist estimate in $2100. Should i get a dental insurance and which? Blue Cross, Delta Dental.... or suggestions.

Don't bother. I've never seen a dental plan that pays out more than it costs. Between coverage limits, waiting periods, and coinsurance, you're best off just working out a plan on your own with your dentist, OR, going to a local dental school.

Is dental insurance a good option?
I am a college student, I work part time and have no medical insurance at all. I would love to go the dentist but with the current prices I can't even think about it. I've heard about dental insurance, but I have no idea what's the best one out there. I need a root canal and regular cleanings so it has to be something that can cover that or at least a good portion of that. Are you guys familiar with dental insu do you know any good options? They have saved me thousands of dollars over the years. From Cleanings, extractions, xrays, filling, root canals...etc. all services are included in this very affordable plan. I need a plan that starts right away. I was going to buy one before but I had to wait a year before It would pay for anything major like crowns or bridges and I need some bridges done. Can anyone help me find one?

This means they'll pay $1500 and you'll pay $1500 of the first $3000. You will pay all costs above $3000. Since braces and associated costs will average around $6000 you will pay $4500 after paying the dental insurance premium of $30 - $60 for at least 12 months. Visit a local agent to see what plans are available in your state. There is no extra charge using an agent. Your other alternitive is a fee for service discount plan. The fee for service means with most procedures there is a set fee the dentist charges and with other procedures there is a discount. You can find one at this website: http://www.dpbrokers.com/default.aspx?lo… For braces there is a set fee schedule (SFS) with most of these plans but you'll need to call some dentist that accept the plans to find out how much it would actually cost you.

If I have 3 dental insurance plans and a ton of dental work to be done, how can I get?
my dentist office to submit certain procedure charges to certain insurances? since each plan covers something different that i need done, and vice versa?

If you have hit the dentist lottery and actually have a secretary that knows how to bill correctly- you are right- all three insurances are liable to pay for the procedures that will be done--but before you go to the dentist- please read over ALL THE RESTRICTIONS listed in those little clauses you can barely read--and if there are none that interfere with your dental plan and payment plan with the companies- make sure your DENTIST is aware of your 3 insurances so he can oversee the correct coding and billing to each insurance..........*you have also watch to make sure he doesn't bill all 3 for the same procedures..........good luck and happy smiling.
