dental care?

I have not dental or health insurance coz I cant afford it, just fallen on some hard times but the problem is that I have had a tooth ache for the past two months and now is it affecting my other teeth.Pain killers are not working anymore. does anyone know where I can get the tooth taken out or looked at at a reasonable price in the Atlanta GA area.I do not have medicare .

Selling artwork for medical expenses - professional or desperate?

I am an artist (painter) who has a full time job and health/dental insurance. I recently had an exhibit and sold a few paintings. Though I work as a web content copywriter, and I do occasionally sell some work, I have just found out that I must undergo very expensive dental work, of which my insurance will only cover about 20% of the cost. This will leave me with a bill of around $4,125.00. The work has to be done, I've avoided it for too long. I was thinking about how I can afford to pay for this. It occured to me that I have many drawings, prints and small paintings that I could sell for very reasonable prices ($30-50), and I've considered sending out a group e mail to friends and associates in the hope that some may be interested in purchasing, or perhaps sending along to friends for purchasing. I wanted some advice about 1) if this is professional or 2) would it seem like a desperate move? Also, 3) what are other ways to more successfully fund these health costs? Thanks

I don't think it's desperate, or unprofessional...how about just necessary. I wouldn't price your pieces to sell, however... as you're undermining yourself for current and future pieces. Time to have another one man show?

I'm getting a dental crown, what is a "adjunctive pro/ gld in"?

I was looking at an itemized list that my dentist sent, they include a Crown, the buildup w/ pins (covered by insurance) and a third item, $100 not covered called "unspecified adjunctive pro/ gld in...". The text cuts off after in, I'm assuming it means inset or inlet. I don't understand what this is. Anyone know?

I scraped the enamel off my teeth, what to do!?

I'm pretty sure this happened, because the back of my teeth are now soft, and I could feel slivers of hard flakey material coming off of them, I tried to clean my teeth with those metal picks from the pharmacy. I have no dental insurance and I'm broke. (hench trying to clean my own teeth.) It will be a while before seeing a dentist, what can I do in the meantime to help?

Will my gums ever stop receding?

I am 21yo guy and the last time i went to a dentist (i cant anymore cause my parents dental insurance somehow found out i wasnt working or in school.. although i dont know why they do that) they found i had slight gum recession and said they cant stop it. The only thing i could do is a gum graft but the gums can still receed. If there is no way to stop it im gonna kill myself. I wont live like this!!!!

Are you brushing too hard? Use a soft bristle brush and brush lightly. Brushing too hard can actually cause recession.

Where can I get CHEAP or FREE dental work.?

I have no insurance and need a root canal and a crown ... myabe just have the tooth pulled. Either way right now i am in severe pain!! Im in arlington texas.
