How much of my dental bill will my insurance cover?

i've literally never been to a dentist. i know i have some cavities and i have an idea of how much dental work costs w/o insurance and its going to be quite a high bill to get everything fixed. i live in NY and have Blue Cross Blue Shield as an insurance provider. I just wanted to get an idea of how much dental insurance covers of the actual bill, and the percentage of the bill i should expect to pay out of pocket. thanks

If your dentist really wants your business, they will file a "treatment plan" and let you know what your costs would be and what they expect the insurance to pay. So, your best bet would be to talk to the dentist directly.
