what can i do at home for TMJ?

I have TMJ but I have no dental insurance is there anything else i can do, like home remadies?

My health insurance doesn't cover for TMJ I had to get a night guard to wear when I was sleeping. But it kept breaking. I can not afford 80 every month for a mouth piece. But I bought one from walmart and it worked good. till I broke it to lol. I just take allot of Tylenol and when I am sleeping if I catch my self clenching my jaw I put my tongue in between my teeth and that also helps. I hope I am helping ya. lol good luck I know it hurts.
