I don't have the thousands needed up front or any insurance for dental work.I am in extreme pain and need to get work.Anyone know where i can go?I live in madison wi

As long as you get a job with at least 40 hours a week, the job will supply you with benefits. Benefits are when you work for a long time and your company supplies things like dental and health insurance. however, i live in Nevada, so the law might be different where you live, but I know that no matter what, if you work for a pretty good amount of time you will receive benefits.

best vision/dental and health insurance for seniors?

Hi, I am shopping around for best and affordable vision/dental/health insurance plans for my mom who is 58 years old. She doesn't have any coverage right now. Any ideas what companies are there that offer these plans at affordable rates?

why do people pay dental and vision insurance?

now those don't make any sense to me.
--------------------
Depends on the plan, and on your needs. My partner and I choose not to buy dental insurance because not only do the premiums cost more per year than the amount we typically spend per year at the dentist, but there are key exclusions of coverage that we'd have to pay out of pocket anyway. So, it'd be stupid. Also, we like our dentist, and none of the insurance plans we would buy include him on the list. We don't want to be told what dentist we can see. Vision insurance is another one we won't do. It excludes regular checkups and they only let you make appts. if you have a problem. We want preventative and routine care, not just trouble-shooting. It's more reasonable for us to pay as we go and make appts. with whomever we want, whenever we want, without having to explain anything to an insurance company. However, some people just feel better if they have insurance for everything because they go to the doctor a lot more frequently or are less picky about their practitioners.

How do get Delta Dental insurance?

Does anyone out there have an "individualized" plan? If yes, how did you get it & was there a long waiting period? My dentist takes only that & Metlife. I really want him to do all my work because he is a quality dentist. According to thier website, you cant get an individual plan??????
--------------------
Medical Discount Plan ideal for those who cannot afford or qualify for traditional health insurance. The companies offer discounted health services for a quite low monthly fee. Benefits include a range of discounts for doctors, hospitals, dental, vision, prescriptions, vitamins, as well as other health services. Individual & Family Health Plans This is a major health insurance plan for individuals and families. If you are looking for comprehensive long term health insurance coverage for yourself and/or your family members who are 62 years old or younger - this is the plan to choose. Short Term Medical Plans This plan is ideal for individuals in transition. Maybe you have just graduated from college and are no longer covered under your student health insurance or you moved out on your own, and you're no longer covered under your parents' medical insurance plan. Or perhaps you're employed part-time, going to school, leaving home for the first time, or even retiring early. Maybe you've found a new job, but your new employer's group health insurance plan won't kick in until you've been with months. YOu are not the only person who have ever met this kind of problem,I met this type of problem before.I have good experience here    www.HealthInsuranceFree.info/dental.html    to solve the problem.

can you purchase dental insurance?

can you purchase dental insurance if you do not have a social security number?
--------------------
I would strongly encourage you to visit this great site: www.healthsavings.ourperfectcard.com I signed up online over 5 years ago and they have saved me thousands of dollars on all of my dental services. From root canals, extractions, crowns, fillings, xrays...etc. Even my braces had great coverage. No SS # required I believe. They even had my benefits active in 2 hours and was able to use them the very same day. Good luck and hope this help

Dental insurance? I need to get 3 wisdom teeth taken out but i cant afford it.?

whats the best and most affordable dental insurance that would cover this in so cal?
--------------------
Hi. You might want to try http://www.apdiscounts.com They are not insurance but better because there are no waiting periods, no deductibles, no limits. For 1 person its only $11.95/month and for an entire family its $19.95/month. Go here or on the website to see what providers are in your area. http://providersearch.ameriplanhealth.co… I have not personally used the dental but I have used the medical in which I ended up in the hospital for 2 days and they took $2000.00 of my hospital bill. The medical is $49.95-59.95/month and the dental is FREE with the medical. Hope this helps. Katherine.

Dental work recommended yr o insurance won't reimburse for 2 yrs. What are the pros and cons of waitin?

My eldest daughter is six and our insurance Will not reimburse fo 2 years and it is about $ 2300total Any suggestions?
--------------------
If it needs to be done now, then you just can't wait for two years. You'll have to find some other way of paying for it. If you don't have the cash, talk to them at the dentist's office. They will probably have a payment plan.

Does The Health Care Bill cover Dental Insurance?

Because i need braces and i do not know how the bill works. If it covers, do i pay for my invisalign (my parents cannot afford it (I'm 17)) Will my dental insurance from the bill pay for it? or it does not cover braces? What do u think.................u dnt have 2 know d full answer...........
--------------------
Um to the guy who answered "get a job and pay for your own braces like most american's do"... Most americans cannot afford decent dental care even if they work full time! Especially single parents with young children! Braces now cost $3,000 to $7,000 PLUS routine care and maintenance (with co-pay) PLUS retainer and maintenance after! ALL OF IT IS EXORBITANTLY PRICED! Dental care is way over priced, and has become such a cliche in our "appearance first" society, it is not right. And for single parents like myself, Medical (or what it used to be before the bill) would only cover pulling out teeth, fillings, and root canals. My friend lost two teeth due to poor nutrition when she was growing up in an abusive home, and her medical would not cover crowns to fill in her teeth... and if she worked over the set limit that social services gave her, she would lose her medical and be without any dental insurance... screwed, like your thinking.

On average, how much would it cost to have your teeth whitened w/o dental insurance?

No over the counter stuff, the real deal by a dentist...
--------------------
I had the BrightSmile done twice. It was $500 and it didn't work as well as I planned. They redid it and still was not as white as I'd liked them to be. They said I could get up to 7 shades lighter, but when they hold the color strips up to your teeth, it's hard to see. I didn't think it was worth the money I spent on it. I bought my son the GoSmile and it was $90.00 and it's worked just as good as the treatmetn I had.

My job doesn't offer dental insurance and I need my wisdom teeth out.?

I don't qualify for help, but I can't pay for something like that up front. With all the bills I have I can make only payments. A lot of dentists around here don't take payments. Where can I go? What websites?
--------------------
I know this guy named Marty. Every second Tuesday of the month he parks his camper behind Walmart on Hogan Blvd. For $50 he will pull 2 teeth. But for $60 he will pull three. Your choice. He also gives paps as well. They are $35, but you also get a class of wine while AC DC is playing in the background. HOWEVER, a friend of a friend said she got three teeth pulled, a pap, and a mammogram for $100. Can't beat a deal.

Strange Dental Insurance Question?

Why isn't dental insurance part of health Insurance? You don't have head, back or leg insurance so why do our teeth?
--------------------
Dental work is in general pretty cheap compared to other medical procedures, so they keep it separate. I like your thinking, though - it should be the same, and in the US it should also be free....
