Is there a way I can purchase dental insurance to fix super eruption?

I'm sure it's not possible but I'm asking anyway. I need a crap ton of oral surgery I think due to teeth in the back on top slightly super erupting because of missing teeth on the bottom. Sucks so bad. My fault, I know. Anyway, is there a way I could purchase insurance on my own to help cover this? Any suggestions are super welcome. Thanks.

How long do you have to wait to use your dental insurance once you sign up?

My teeth are hurting and I have no insurance as of now. I am not covered at work since i am considered part time. My boss is actually in the same situation as she hasn't been with the company for the mandatory period of time...3 months I think. She told me I can buy coverage on the side. But how soon can I use my coverage? And is it like a cell phone contract where you gotta sign on for x number of years? thanks!
--------------------
Get on the eHealthPlus plan. It has no waiting periods and no contracts. Most every dental insurance has waiting periods.

Can you get dental insurance if you already have cavities?

I have probably 6 or 7 cavities. Do you have to go for a check up or something before you can get insurance?
--------------------
I don't think there is a checkup before you get insurance...but there is usually a waiting period of sometimes up to 6 months to 1 year for some services to kick in. For instance, if it's insurance through your job, it may kick in 6 months after your initial enrollment period...but may not pay for certain services until 1 year after the enrollment period. You'd have to lie on the survey/enrollment form (saying you had no existing conditions) and then wait a while after the insurance kicks in (say, a month or two, if possible) to not look suspicious.

Anyone know of a good private dental insurance company?

I'm looking for a dental insurance company that is not connected to one's employee benefits...dental work is so costly!! :-p
--------------------
Let me tell you a few thoughts on this. First, call the dentists in your area and see WHAT THEY TAKE because you could pay for something no one takes. Know what I mean? Also, read the plan carefully. Sometimes they offer coverage similar to the price you pay for it. What I mean is, if you add up your monthly payments for the insurance, and then subtract the deductable, etc etc etc, it may not be worth signing on for a year. Lastly, if you can find a dental college in your area, or outside your area, you can often find very cheap rates and long lines. Something to consider depending on what you want done. I had a root canal done at one and the student was so nervous that I was upset, he was very, very careful and kind. I had a tooth pulled at the local overpriced dentist with a degree and he was a jerk who yelled at me and treated me rudely.

How much is health/dental/car insurance for a married couple (no kids) age 21 and 20?

Planning ahead... Would health insurance through our universities be cheaper? We will both still be attending college (different universities, close to each other). What would the estimated rates be per year for heath, dental, and car insurances? Thank you for any info!

You can easily check your minimal health care rates in internet, for example here - health-quotes.isgreat.org

Does both dental insurance companies pay for the dental procedure?

I have to have a deep cleaning procedure done and it would cost $322 without insurance. If I have 2 different insurance companies and they both would pay 60% of the procedure; could my dentist office have both of them pay the 60% of the procedure or would I have to pay something out of pocket? I have seen where health insurance paid a portion of the hospital bill and they billed the rest to the other health insurance provider that you have, if you have an additional one.

What is some good dental insurance?

What is a good and affordable dental insurance?
--------------------
Depends on what exactly you are looking for. Please keep in mind in addition to dental insurance there are dental discount plans which may be cheaper and offer substantial savings. It just depends on what level of work you need on your teeth. If i were you I would "yahoo search" the pros and cons of each. Hope this helps.

Is there and Dental Insurance or Orthodontic Insurance which covers the cost of braces?

It doesn't matter how expensive it is. I really need them an insurance which will cover the cost because i'm almost 18 years old. Please help my teeth are so horrible I hate them, thanks.
--------------------
Braces and any other cosmetic procedures are NOT covered by insurance. That's why it's so expensive. Your parents will have to pay for them.

dental insurance they want cash upfront?

I have a wisdom toothh here in virginia that is becoming infected. I have top notch dental insurance that pays 90%. We only have one group of oral surgeons in my area. I am on antibiotics, but the pain is very bad. They want 500 cash to do this procedure. I offered to pay the copay upfront to no avail. What can I legally do?
--------------------
Can you contact your insurance company and explain your problem with this provider? I had a bad experience with one dentist when I had dental insurance that was overcharging and he told me that I need some dental work that I didn't need. I paid, and the insurance company paid him as well. I discover the entire scam, but I never bothered to report him, I simply switched to a different dentist. Try to contact your insurance company or to see if you could find a nearby dentist with a better option for you, it doesn't sound right that you have to pay that much money either. Good luck to you!

When can I start using my dental insurance in the army?

I have a few cavities that need filling. And I was curious of when I will be able to start using the insurance the U.S. Army will insure me with... Would I have to wait until after BCT (basic training) or could I see the dentist for the filling prior or when in BCT?
--------------------
I dunno about the Army, but in Navy boot camp they do a full dental check up and if you need any fillings, they get as many done as possible and will also pull your wisdom teeth if necessary.

What can I do to get dental care without dental insurance?

Hi everyone, I'm a 2x veteran that seperated from the Army, recently I have trouble finding a dentist that will provide dental care under a Vet Affairs dental reimbursement program. Because I have one missing tooth (pre-existing cond.), the costs for the dental implant exceeded the VA fee schedule, therefore will not reimburse the dentist. VA has been ignoring my case for almost a year now. If I go for priv dent. ins. I will not be covered for a teeth implant. Now I'm thinking of going to Mexico for dental care. Are there any other options?
--------------------
Unfortunately veterans get stuck behnd the 8 ball on this one, and I am so sorry for that. The fees that the VA allows are so low that most dentists can't work with that fee schedule without losing their shirt. The whole VA Dental program s a joke. We have tried in the past to work with some of the vets in our area and the hospitals put you guys on hold forever. Not a very nice way to say thanks for your service. You should speak with your local government representative to see what can be done in your area. Best of luck and well wishes

Is there a personal dental insurance plan out there to cover implants?

I'm self-employed and need to get a dental plan that would hopefully cover much of the cost of bridges and tooth implants without a long waiting period. Are there such dental plans out there? NO SPAM PLEASE!
--------------------
Yes there are. Implants are now approved in a number of state as Type 3 (or Major) procedures, and many dental insurance companies (Delta, Guardian, Ameritas) cover them at 50% after a deductible. Look into some of these companies.

I need to get dental insurance. I am unemployed and I need a lot work and implant dental needs.?

I am suppossed to have surgery, implants and periodontal work on my teeth. Can someone tell me about a chepa insurance here in CA ?
--------------------
Dental implant surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her dental implants and Lasik surgery in India by a company called Indian Health Guru Consultants. The Price for dental and Lasik surgery is very less in India. She paid 25% of the price she was quoted in America. Indian Health Guru Consultants is very famous in India They arrange Dental surgery, jaw surgery, Lasik eye surgery, Dental Implants etc for foreign patients in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and magazines- about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low cost, as dental and eye surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star. http://www.indianhealthguru.com Hope this helps.

You should have tricare right now but it ends 90 days after he is released from active duty. Tri care does not cover dental, United concordia is available but you pay for it each month and depending on where you are its can suck.. no one around here wanted to take it and I paid for it for a year and never got to use it, i got the run around every time I tried to use it and when ever I contacted them.. It was sooooo no worth it! I ended up finding a dentist that understood my situation and let me pay 1/3 up front and make payments on the rest.. start calling dentist and see what you can work out.... good luck!
