Hello, Be very very careful about On Line Insurance offerings by companies you have never heard of...If you were a person with sever financial issues you can go the "Out-Patient Clinic" of the nearest dental School and they will take care of most dental problems for Free or a very low cost. Good luck and I wish you well.

Is there free or reduced price for dental care?

I'm looking for an organization or something or someone to help my husband. He needs massive work on his teeth. Most dentist offices in where I live don't have a payment plan or want money up front for the kind of work he needs. I know he needs teeth pulled and possibly dentures. We're not rich nor do our health insurance covers dental but it's making him sick due to infections. He has gone to the doctor but no dentist wants to take him because of our financial situation so they prescribe him medicine. I would like to see him smile for once or at least feel confident in himself. He's a wonderful husband and a loving father and would do anything to help someone out. The reason for his bad teeth situation because he's been told that he has something that makes his teeth brittle and break easily. He brushes and flosses everyday. He also rinses his mouth out with mouthwash. He does whatever possible thing he can do to keep his mouth healthy. I know once he gets the care he needs, he'll feel better with himself both physically and mentally. Thank you for hearing me out and I appreciate the time in reading.

Any idea the cost to get a kid's tooth filled?

My 5 yr. old is complaining of tooth pain. We have no dental insurance. In Massachusetts, do not qualify for Masshealth, but we live paycheck to paycheck. (we have medical, just no dental)
--------------------
I paid around $70 for mine. That's is because of this great plan I have. www.healthsavings.ourperfectcard.com I signed up online over 3 years ago now for all my dental needs and they have saved me thousands of dollars throughout the years. From Root Canals, fillings, exams, xrays...etc. All services are included and no age limits. They even had my benefits active in 2 hours and able to use this very affordable plan the same day. Good Luck and Hope this Helps.

Amalgum and Dental Crown concerns?

I have 6 cavities that need to be filled. The tooth colored ones doesn't cover by my insurance and it cost 150 per tooth which is too much, let alone 6. Is the amalgum/metal ones bad for me as a teenager? I'm also getting a dental crown 2 days later, and I'm just wondering is it bad as the root canal procedure? I really appreciate your help! Thanks!
--------------------
I do not recommend amalgam fillings. they tend to make your teeth crack over time. which would lead you to need another crown. Crown preps are not bad at all. about like getting a filling done. Tooth colored fillings are the best way to go. No one but you will know they are there, and they last a lot longer.

Moving out of state with Invisalign?

Here's the scenario, I want to get invisalign because right now I have a full time job so I have Metlife Dental that will cover 60% So if I were to get Invisalign now and move to another state (from WI to CO) in four months, would the orthodontist just transfer my info/aligners to another orthodontist in Colorado? Also when I move, I won't have dental insurance anymore and will I need to pay more fees? If I have to, do you know how much? Help?
--------------------
Your dentist will help you find an Invisalign provider to complete your case in your new location. Most insurance plans pay out ortho on a monthly or quarterly installment basis. Whatever is remaining of your benefit when your plan terminates will likely be lost. If your payment agreement with your dentist was based on receiving your full benefit, you will owe more. It depends on the new office if they will charge to finish your case. At our office, if treatment was nearly complete, we'd finish it as a courtesy, hoping to get you to become a patient. It really depends on how much time they have to spend with you. Ask your current dentist about transferring your records.

Dental Bridge Cost?

I live in the Las Vegas area, and would like to know if the prices from my estimates are fair. At one dental office, the treatment for (4) dental implants would be $8,000. Down from $20,000 that they would charge someone with insurance. This is at Coronado Dental. At the other, for a brige implant for the entire lower and upper mouth, it would be $70,000 and to have each tooth implanted individually, it would be $120,000. This is at Smiles by Dr. Mike Golpa.
--------------------
Dental implant surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her dental implants and Lasik surgery in India by a company called Indian Health Guru Consultants. The Price for dental and Lasik surgery is very less in India. She paid 25% of the price she was quoted in America. Indian Health Guru Consultants is very famous in India They arrange Dental surgery, jaw surgery, Lasik eye surgery, Dental Implants etc for foreign patients in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and magazines- about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low cost, as dental and eye surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star. http://www.indianhealthguru.com Hope this helps.

billing issues with dental office - looking for lawyer?

hi, I have billing issues with my dentist. he messed up my credit report and sent collection notices. the charges are wrong and i'm looking for lawyer to help me fight for my rights and fix my credit report that was messed up with this billing issues with dental office. Can you please help me find lawyer who can handle this type of case? My insurance was active the day of service done and the dental office has all my insurance information. So they sent me bills for services instead of claiming with insurance company. Also, the bill states seven fillings were done for my son (19 years) on same day. It is not possible to have that many fillings in one day. I tried searching on findlaw.com, but didn't find any. My location: Conyers, GA 30013 Please help. Thanks
--------------------
FYI: it certainly IS possible to have 7 fillings in one day! I am a dental hygienist and have worked in several offices and had many patients who have had to come back for so many fillings that the dentist would do many at once.
