I'm 28 healthy female need health insurance. What is the best price for a premium plan with dental and where?

Specific company and best price.
--------------------
Ha. I'd like to know myself. Healthcare in the US is astronomical! I am divorced and had to get my own health ins.. I had Aetna HMO with no dental ins. Can't afford that! It kept rising every year almost $100.00 until I finally was paying over $600.00 per month with no dental! I switched to Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of NJ. I pay less than Aetna, but it's still same plan, with no dental, $30.00 co payment for each doc visit and I pay 1/2 of each prescription's cost. My current monthly payment to them is $470.00 per mo. A PPO is off the charts money wise and so I took the bottom of the barrel, an HMO.. Good Luck..

I need advice on obtaining Homeowners, Health and Dental Ins?

I need to get homeowners, health and dental insurance within the next week and do not have much free time to shop. What advice do you have to assure I am getting a competitive deal? Should I get them all with one company? What company's should I check out? Thanks.
--------------------
Call a local independent agent. Look in the yellow pages and you want a larger one that has property & casualty (home & auto) & a financial services (or Life & Health) department. They should be able to get you what you need. You will probably speak to 2 people because in most larger agencies, the sales people do not have both life/health & property/casualty licenses. They specialize in one or the other.

My gums have receded very badly, but I can not afford to pay for dental surgery, so any ideas on what I can do?

I am 59 years old, I have no dental insurance, and can not afford to pay for gum surgery.
--------------------
You do eventually need proper dental advice so start putting some money aside for that day as your teeth's dentine and gingivae line are exposed. Make sure when you brush your teeth you always brush from the gum to the end of the tooth. Not around and floss well each day. Always use a soft tooth brush as it will help the plaque. As your gums are receding you will probably find it is the plaque which has built up along the gum line and irritated it and caused it to recede. The gum line won't grow back so you must learn to manage the condition as in time if they are this bad you will probably need dentures as infection may set in and the tooth condition and your health may be such that saving them may not be an option. Your teeth are your health and don't underestimate the effect they have on your well being.

Me and my wife are seperating we live in the state of California, Can I remove her from my medical and dental?

Me and my wife are seperating we live in the state of California, Can I remove her from my medical and dental insurance without a signed letter from her? or must I keep her on? Is there such a law that says I cannot remove her?
--------------------
As a lawyer, licensed in California I would strongly advise against doing anything radical or outside of ordinary living expenses. Sudden transfers of valuable property to relatives, the dissipation of a marital bank account, the sudden winnings and loss at gambling tables, or lottery, etc. will only result in the court whiplashing you to death. In short, everything you owned prior to separation is considered community property until the court says otherwise. You will also owe some obligation for support to one another, unless you both agree otherwise. Dental and Medical are considered community property and are also considered valuable rights. So terminating her from your plans could end up putting you in the court's doghouse. Short answer after all the above is: If its significant, don't do it. Now if you want to throw out some holey socks, or worthless junk and clutter, provided it has no actual value, you can probably do that. If you have acknowledged separate property, you can probably deal with that. However, if you want a true separation, then perhaps your starting point is to create a dividing line between what is now (community property) and what you will acquire after separation (individual property). Separation in California is technical and tricky. In the grander scheme, its the separation of two spouses without the intent to live as a married couple. However, what existed prior to separation is a matter of interpretation. So if you do nasty stuff that will hurt your wife, then the court will take you out and execute you for it. LOL. Well not really kill you, just make you wish it did.

how to confirm dental insurance?

this is for the front dental office. by hmo, ppo and medical? thanks
--------------------
Usually the 800 number is called that's found on the patient's insurance card, and then insurance info is faxed to the office, showing what's covered and what the benefits are... That's how we do it.

How can someone get help with dental work that is needed "killer tooth pain" with no insurance, no money forit?

and nowhere near a dental school and not even close to a state that has one
--------------------
well go to a dental clinic the doctor i work for volunteers at a dental clinic every friday for people that cant afford dental treatment. your tooth is probably abcessed so the only way the pain will go away is by getting some antibiotics the pain should go away within 3 days but you will need to get the tooth taken out before the medicine leaves your system. you should really call a dentist should only cost about $80 for an exam and xray.

Roughly how much does dental bonding cost per tooth?

I know it depends on the amount of work needed to be done, but say its not a lot of work and you already have good teeth and are just getting bonding to fix stains or change the shape of them like I want to do for my four front top teeth... then in that case how much would it be? Also, I dont have dental insurance and plan on paying outta pocket... can I do that?

What is someone wants braces but can't afford it and doesn't have dental insurance?

How can they go about getting their teeth straightened? =(
--------------------
If you have dentist already, belive it or not, some of them will let you make monthly payments. Talk to your dentist. Otherwise you need to ask the cost and try to save up enough to pay for it on your own. Good luck!

As a small business owner I would like to know what you recommend for affordable health insurance.

Currently paying 700/mo for medical and dental insurance and not feeling i am getting value for the dollar, nor feeling I can continue to pay for the insurance at this rate.

A good health insurance company offering individual health and dental coverage for self employed people?

I live in Florida.
--------------------
Hi, I think you should consider a BlueCross/BlueShield policy. Their rates are very good right now if you don't have any pre-existing conditions. You can also add a dental policy. Aetna and Humana can be very good also, but I think your best bet at the moment is BCBS. If you want to sent me a quick e-mail with your birth date, I'd be glad to return a quote by e-mail from all three companies so you can compare, and then I'll show you how to find an agent in your area online. warren@iccf.us

If Mercury is bad for us, why don't insurance companies pay for resin fillings?

I pay my dental insurance company far too much money for them to only cover amalgam fillings on the back teeth. Don't they know that they are bad? Shouldn't they have to follow certain health guidlines?
--------------------
Resin (composite) fillings are paid for by some insurance companies. The reason some insurance companies will not pay for posterior composite fillings is that evidence shows that these posterior composites do not last as long or hold up as well as the silver (amalgam) restorations. Silver amalgam does contain mercury, however it has been researched extensively to the safety and durability of its use as a restorative material.

what insurance do i need for jaw surgery?

medical or dental? i have a really bad underbite and it's killing me not being able to eat well (chewing.) i have basic health and dental insurance from my mom's company. i appreciate your time, thanks.
--------------------
It depends on the dental insurance. Some dental insurance often say send the claim to the medical insurance for a major procedure and payment. And then it will go through the dental insurance to see how much they will cover. I would talk to a dentist first and the front office should know what to do. Good luck.
