California Delta Dental Insurance thru Costco?

Does any one know if this plan covers adult orthodontics. They advertise the insurance on the costco website but the way it is written it is hard to understand. Does anyone know?

Yes - the Costco/Delta Dental plan covers some adult orthodontia. If you go to www.deltadentalins.com/plans_costco, you will see that an enrollee copayment of $2,700 is required for services that typically cost in the range of $3,600 to $5,200. The covered services are described as "Comprehensive orthodontic treatment of the adult dentition – adults, including dependent adult children covered as full-time students." And as the plan is an HMO-type program, you will have to select a DeltaCare dentist to provide these services - not just any orthodontist you might choose.
