Who offers the best dental insurance plans?

I dont want to have to pay out of butt for my insurance. I need it just for myself.I dont really want a high deductible. I am going to need quite a bit of dental work in 2010. Extractions and such. I dont even know where to start.

Both answer are good. However If you are looking at Delta Dental PPOs you may have a problem with there max limit and their waiting periods. Since you Stated you need Major work done in 2010 the waiting periods will be an issue to consider. Dental Discount plans are great they normally do not have waiting periods and start if not in the next business day from sign up then within a few working days. The problem you may feel you have with a discount plan is that you have to chose one from one of there providers nothing is free you pay for everything but at a reduce or discount rate. There is another plan yet to be talked about this is an HMO. HMO is an insurance plan where you also have to chose a dentist in their net work but normally the cost for services render are cheaper then a dental discount plan. The down side is that they may not cover for you to see a specialist you need to read the policy terms. All the plans I talked about you can find depending on the state that you are in at http://www.insurancecompany.com I hope I have helped
