Dental insurance question, multiple coverage?

My son is going to need some orthodontic work done in the next few years. My ex husband and I both have coverage on him though I've always only used mine. Does this mean that there is a possibility that his insurance will pick up part of what mine doesn't provided his plan also provides somewhat for orthodontic work?

If the orthodontist participates with both insurance providers, probably. But you need to check your benefits and have your ex check his to find out how much each insurance company will pick up. For example, my daughter's dental insurance only covers 1000.00 for orthodontia. I had to pay the rest.
