What should I do? I've maxed out the family's dental insurance for the year, so I can't really go back to the doctor. I am still taking the antibiotics I got (since I only got my wisdom teeth taken out 2 days ago - I think I got 5 days worth total in the prescription). What do I need to do to get rid of the infection?

Most dental offices include any post op care in their fees for taking out the wisdom teeth. So I doubt if you would be charged to have it checked out . You can call and ask just to be sure. Good luck
