My husbands plan wont cover spouses for braces. Do you know any companies and or any websites that I can get some info from. I'm looking for a company that offers a discount for braces only, I don't need a discount on dental because I already have dental insurance. Any advice or experience with this would be a help...thanks!!!

Discount dental plans are a joke. Orthodontists have fixed costs - brackets and wires are expensive. So is the cost of additional training necessary to move teeth. Why would a specialist provide services for a fraction of what they normally charge? What will they do for full-paying patients that they won't do for a discount patient? Ask about payment plans, cash discounts, etc. Stay away from multi-level schemes such as Ameriplan.
