I went to my ear, nose and throat doc who stated I need to get a night guard made by the dentist. My dental insurance will not cover it so I was wondering if anyone had any luck having your medical insurance covering it? (since it is my physician stating I need it) Thanks in advance.

DO NOT USE A SPORTS GUARD....This will screw up your bite and jaw over time.The guard a dentist makes for you fits everything perfectly...For a good reason...Have your dr. write the precscription form and send it with the dentists estimate together...They should cover it if it was prescribed from a medical doctor...good luck
