My mom has been on worker's compensation for about four months now. She gets life, medical, and dental insurance through the company that she works for. For some reason, she just received a notice that all of her insurance will be canceled. Can they do this? What does she need to do?

I don't know about other countries, but in the U.S., as long as she is on workers comp, the company has to maintain all benefits. She should contact the personnel department to find out what these notices are about.
