Stinky Dead Tooth! No Dental Insurance! Any Thoughts?

A tooth of mine was given a root canal 2 years ago and needs an extraction. However I have no insurance and the tooth is just sitting there dead and rotting. Ew. Now I am getting very self conscious that the tooth has an odor, and want to figure out some way to deal with this. I cannot afford to go to the dentist....anyone have any thoughts on the home treatment of a dead tooth's odor? Thanks!

there really is no remedy for that besides either pulling out yourself, which is dangerous, incredibly painful and stupid, or going to see a dentist. Try to save up some money and find a dental school near you. they usually charge less for these procedures. Other than that just use a lot of mouthwash and chew lots of sugarfree gum.

  1. I got useful information from your Blog. Thanks for sharing such useful information. The tonsil stones are formed when food particles get trapped in the deep tonsillar crypts and are acted upon by the digestive enzymes present in saliva.
