I had a large filling done the other day and was told I would need to get a crown put on it. The dentist told me it would cost me $550 without insurance. Am I being overcharged for this? If it makes a difference I think she said it would be a porcelain crown infused with metal.? It's going on the top right either 2nd bicuspid or 1st molar.
