OK dental insurance is insurance what that means is that you pay a monthly premium which can be pretty costly and you have to pay a deductible ( deductible is the part of the insurance that you have to pay for before the insurance itself will pay anything) Deductible can be any thing from $500, $1000 and up depending on what the insurance company says. After the deductible you might still have to pay a co-pay, that is what your insurance deems you need to pay when you visit the doctor or have a procedure, then the insurance will pay the rest. But some insurances will not accept you with pre-existing conditions or work that was started by another dentist but wasn't finished, they will place a cap or limit on what they will pay for dental material and dental procedures and usually will not cover anything cosmetic. A Dental Plan is or a Discount Dental Plan is a membership plan where you can pay a low monthly fee or you have the option of paying the complete yearly fee for a membership. This membership allows you to see in network providers and get discounts on exams and dental procedures. Because this is a discount plan everyone is accepted regardless of pre-existing conditions and cosmetic services are covered. I myself needed dental work and the only choice was a medical dental discount plan because they accept pre-existing conditions plus for a low monthly fee my family was also covered under the same price. After much research I found one that was really good and had good history in the Better Business Bureau. Keep in mind a discount plan is not insurance it is a membership plan that provides dental, vision, hospital, prescription and medical discounts depending on the plan you choose. After the discount you will still be responsible for paying the remaining amount of the bill. I liked this plan so much that I am now a sales agent if you are interested you can email me annie_garza@yahoo.com. There are several plans that vary from 12.99 -29.99 a month depending on which one you need and choose. Not available for Montana and Vermont residents. If you decide to look for one on your own please make sure to research the plans carefully. Check out the company itself and look to see if it has any has complaints or has been sued. P.S If you do contact me I will explain the plans, help you choose one that suits your needs and provide you a brouchure and an application for you to fill out and submit to the company. Other than your first name I do not need any other information. I do not need your ss or financial info That is why i provide the application for you to fill out and submit to the company. Only you and the company see the application
