Thanks for all the answers to my query about braces for my son, quite helpful. To Stacey C I didn't explain myself very well, I was asking the question to judge a funding issue, and not to scrounge off the NHS, my husband and I pay taxes and national insurances like everyone else, and are working for a British company.

Well said Sue. You will have to pay the standard nhs charge unless you are in receipt of tax credits and/or child benefit. Best of luck to the little one.
