I have a minor toothache and no dental insurance. What should I do?

The pain is low, buts more noticable when I eat. I have not been to the dentist in years, have always been afraid to go, but now I feel like I have to. I probably don't have enough cash on me at the moment to pay for it all now.

It could just be a cavity that would be reliatively inexpensive to fix - like under $200 for almost any filling. Don't wait until you end up losing the tooth because you can't afford a roto canal treatment. Many dentists are agreeable to payment arrangements. Just ask.
