Is there any dental insurance that is based on your income?

I have a tooth hurting and I am scared that I dont have enough money to get it pulled.

Too late now. That'd be a "pre existing condition." Besides, if you have to pay out of pocket, you couldn't afford it anyway. And there is no income adjusted insurance. Only time dental insurance makes any economic sense is when an employer is paying most of the premium. First time visit to a dentist for either a filing or extraction would also require an x-ray. Cost would probably about $200 minimum. If you live near a dental school, you might can get it done for nothing if you don't mind a student practicing on you. Be done under supervision, and just as well.
