I have been taking aleeve but it isn't helping anymore. I am looking into dental insurance plans that I can purchase. If I go to my family doctor would he give me something for the pain for the time being? Or would he just tell me he isn't a dentist?

Do you have a dental school that's close by? Usually they'll accept patients where you pay a reduced fee on all procedures (up to 50%). Advantages: very affordable Disadvantages: procedures take longer as students, under the supervision of dentists, will perform the procedures.
