Not to sound like a scammer, but my girlfriend is in a pretty bad situation. She is a graduate student, and has limited medical coverage with absolutely no dental. She had not visited a dentist in two years, and recently had a visit that resulted in a recommendation for a root canal and crown. Looking at fee structures, it would appear that the whole procedure could easily cost $1500+. As a grad student, she obviously was not prepared for this. I've looked online at "discount" plans, and see ones that (for ~$5-10/mo) give you about a 20% price break. Still not that desirable ... Is there any "easy" out in this situation? Without spending thousands of dollars? Thanks in advance!
