I'm 18, and i was wondering if i could still get braces if my dad has dental insurance with his job?

just wondering since i've turned 18 now if its too late?

depends on the insurance company. If you are still in high school, then yes, you would be covered. If you are a full time college student, then yes, you should be covered. your dad will have to check his insurance.
