what type of dental work is recommended for a chipped tooth and what is the cost for it?

i chipped my tooth on a piece of bacon at applebees the other day. I need to get it fixed. i don't know what something like this would cost. also does anyone know, if the companys insurance would cover this, since i filed a claim?

Well ashley in my opinon, I dont think this is applebees fault. Unless it was a real supper hard peice of bacon. I of course am no expert on there insurance though.. If they pay for it great. small chips, and big breaks happen all the time with teeth. Some people come in and the whole side of their tooth is missing, and they said it broke off while they ate cake. Teeth will break no matter what your eating, if the tooth is bad. A simple chip is easy to fix. All you need is a composite filling. Composite is tooth colored. They will patch it up and you'll be good to go. These will usully run you about $ 60 - $80 depending on how many surfaces they have to fix.
