whats the best over the counter pain medication for a moderate to severe tooth ache?

hello i have a moderate to severe tooth ache and cant afford to go to the dentist and i have no dental insurance so far the ib profun 200 MG pills aren't working neither are the tylenol rapid release tablets what will work best to help numb the pain till i can get to the dentist and please no herbal or home remedies tried them they didn't work just meds ty

If you are having a toothache, no amount of topical numbing stuff will do anything except taste bad. Your tooth is probably infected, and this is INSIDE the tooth. You should go to the dentist. Even if you can't afford the work right now, they can prescribe you antibiotics and pain meds. They can also give you a treatment plan, so you'll know how much you need to save up to get this taken care of. Up your dosage of Motrin, also. I usually take 3 or 4 200mg at a time.
