Thanks to all who answered b4. My son is 4 i forgot to say that last time around. Unfortunely for me he does not have dental insurance but money isn't really a problem. I think i will get a second opinion b4 making a final decision. Any other comments welcome. Thanks again.

You're welcome! Please keep me updated on his condition, he should be fine. Endodontist (root canal specialist) might be better help than a pediatrist, since it does involve to pulp, but specialists are always more expensive.
