i used to never have any gaps in my teeth but now my third tooth is slowly creatng a gap between my 2nd tooth. i'm 22 and never had braces and do not have dental insurance. is there anyway to prevent this tooth from creating an even bigger gap without expensive dental work? thanks

No there really isn't but if you go to the orthodontist now you may only need a retainer($800) to wear while you sleep. If you wait and it continues you could need the full set braces---top and bottom ($6,000) Most Ortho's will work with you if you don't have insurance.
