hello I would like to take care of some cavities, I'm an individual with no dental insurance whatsoever, I would like to know which would be cheaper? to get a filling w/o insurance, to get an dental discount plan thingy? or to go to the dentist without either?

You can do the following : 1. Get the dental discount plan 2. Go to a local dental school for cheaper fees 3. Go to a local community health care center and sign up for a "Sliding Fee", if they offer it. Sliding Fee allows you to get the work done for 50% of the cost, provided you can prove a low income.
