I went in for a consultation with Blue Cross Blue Shield and the agent told me that there's no such thing as insurance for orthodontic treatment. The reason why they say that it because they claim that it's essentially for cosmetic improvement but not really to save/help one's own dental health? Is this true? I know there are discount plans, but I'm asking about insurance.
