Are there any real big consequences for not going to the dentist, even if you have no cavitites/other problems?

I know someone who hasn't been to the dentist in like 11 years. They have insurance through their job, but the insurance is poor and the deductibles are high. The person brushes and flosses regularly, and has no known dental problems, not even cavities.

Tell your friend to see his dentist. Even with regular care of your teeth, bits of food and plaque can build up onto your teeth over time until it gets really bad. Your friend needs to get better dental insurance. Look around, I come from a low-income family, yet I have dental insurance. Tell your friend to get it done.
