I have a question about tooth bonding?

I want to get my 4 front top teeth bonded because they are discolored, roughly how much would that cost? I don't have dental insurance and plan on paying outta pocket... can I do that? Also I don't have like a regular family dentist that I go to... is there any walkin type places or whatever that would take me?

As with all procedures, prices vary depending on your location. The cost of dental bonding will also vary with the extent of the bonding process you need. Many dental insurance plans cover most of the cost of the bonding, particularly when it is done for structural reasons. The average cost of cosmetic dental bonding ranges from $300 to $600 per tooth. If you have close, small gaps between your front teeth, or if you have chipped or cracked teeth, you may be a candidate for bonding. Bonding is also used for patients who have discolored teeth, uneven teeth, gum recession or tooth decay. Bonding material is porous, so smokers will find that their bonding will yellow. If you think you are a candidate for bonding, discuss it with your dentist. You should call around your city or county and check with each individual dental clinic to find a place that will take you. Most likely if you walked into any clinic they would give you a consultation and set up an appointment for you to come in and have the procedure done if they found it was necessary or not. Some times they can offer better solutions such as things you can do at home or teeth whitening right there. So just call up a few places or show up and make an appointment. Either way it will turn out fine for you.
