hi i had a root canal like 2 years ago, btu havent had anything done to the tooth since, is it at risk for an infection? cause i might be paranoid but ive heard of people dropping dead from tooth infections, asnd i also have no dental insurance to get anything to the tooth done which is one of the reasons why i havent gotten a perm. cap.

No - you have no root left on the tooth. It could break without a cap, then they would have to pull it. Otherwise, unless the temp. filling they put in doesn't fall out, and the tooth doesn't break, you should be fine.
