There is a white spot on my gums?

The most common reason for white spots on gums is thrush, a fungal disease. It is not serious, but it should be treated if it doesn't go away on its own. Give it another week or two, and if it is still there or gets larger, then make an appointment with either your doctor or dentist. The second most common cause of white spots is leukoplakia, which actually means "white plaque." This is most likely to occur after irritation, such as from some whitening products or from smoking.
