NJ CHILD SUPPORT QUESTION?

I live in nj and am the custodial parent of my child. The non custodial parent has to pay child support and provide health and dental insurance. Our daughter has went to the dentist and his insurance did not cover the whole procedure, leaving me a bill of $485. Is he required to pay half of the bill?

Court Orders vary. Read yours to find out. Usually, the first $250 per year is the custodial parent's liability. Any expense left is split between the parties in proportion to their incomes (If you both make about the same, 50/50%).
