I had dental insurance for my son for 9 straight years, my ex say he needs braces. My insurance would cover $1800.00 of it . I offered to take him but she would not let me take him to my dentist, which was $1500 cheaper than her estimate and 20 miles further. Long story short she never took him, now 5 years later and no dental insurance she wants to take him. What I'm asking is $1800 is a big chunk of change, would I have any case reguarding this?

No matter when she decides to do the dental work you are liable to help her with the bill.yes she is wrong for waiting so long but you are still his dad and this is needed to be done.
