Looking for Dental Insurance / Orthodontic Insurance?

I am thinking about getting braces (preferably Invisalign) and I don't have any insurance at all. I've been doing research and haven't found anything reasonable. I am looking for a good dental or orthodontic insurance plan that will cover or give a good discount on braces and/or dental work. Any information that you can give me will be helpful. Thanks!!!

I paid around $2000 for my braces because of this great plan I have: www.healthsavings.ourperfectcard.com I signed up online over 5 years ago now and have saved me thousands since. From braces, xrays, exams, cleanings..etc. All services are included. They even had my very affordable plan active in 2 hours and was able to use it the very same day. Hope this helps.

My dental insurance doesn't cover the costs of the bridge?

even though after the plan I have, they should cover 60 % of the costs, but so far they refused twice. Can I take them to the court and sue them? Or what else shall I do?
--------------------
There may be a missing tooth clause in your contract. If you were missing the tooth before you went on the insurance, it's a pre-exisitng condition that they may not cover. Check to see WHY they are denying it as your EOB (Explanation of Benefits) should list a reason why they aren't paying. Taking them to court would be a waste of your time and money.

My dad doesn't have dental insurance but my mom does?

My dad doesn't have dental insurance but my mom does. I live with my dad. Me and my dad live in PA as well as my mom. I need braces, but only my top. Can I switch over to my mom's dental insurance even though I live with my dad?

If your mom has a family plan and she put you on it, you're covered. If she didnt put you on it, she can- doesnt matter who you live with

Will having a dental plan ontop of my insurance help financially with the bill?

I need quite a bit of work on my teeth and a little bit of what may be considered cosmetic. Will having a dental plan on top of my insurance actually make a difference and help financially with the bill? (Considering of course that the dentist actually accepts both my insurance and plan)
--------------------
Normally your health insurance won't cover any dental unless it is specifically related to something other than your teeth. The dental coverage would generally not cover elective cosmetic procedures either, but your dentist might be able to get them to pay it. I'd ask the dentist's opinion here, but be advised that a lot of times the provider is paid less than normal by an insurance company, so they do have a financial incentive in some cases to mislead you on this a little.

In need of individual dental/eye insurance plan?

I can't seem to be able to find a provider of individual dental and vision insurance. My employer recently dropped these benefits.

I found interesting information about your answer here. Goodhttp://all-insurance-online.blogspot.com… luck! If you need an expensive dental job (eyes too): Argentina (medical travel) very cheap and the best dentist.

Should I get dental insurance?

I have had bad experience with different dental insurance companies, it either never covered and when it did I usually ended up paying for most of it... it was very pricy. So my friends are telling me I am better of without dental insurance and paying out of pocket or setting up payment plans at the docs office... anybody know anything about dental ins? What do you think?
