what are some low price health insurance that include dental & medical for a good price under $80-100?

in the state of nevada
--------------------
Dental is always seperate, and I haven't seen any dental plans that pay out more than they cost. For health insurance, you get what you pay for. If you're perfectly healthy, male, 20, for $100 a month, you're looking at a $500 to $1,000 deductible on a decent plan. That means, you pay the first $500 to $1,000 of medical bills, before the insurance kicks in. If you're older, female, or not perfectly healthy (including overweight), it's quite possible that you won't find ANY type of "insurance" for under $80 a month.

Is there a dental finance waiver?

A while ago, I had to go to the emergency room, but I didn't have medical insurance, so the next day, a hospital worker who worked for the administrative assistance program, gave me a call and told me that I was eligible to have my medical expensive waived...And they waived every single penny. So I was wondering, because I don't have dental insurance, but I do have an income, is there a way that they can waive or discount the expenses for dental procedures, or is that only for medical emergencies?

It would be up to the dentist, to do that, just like it's up to the hospital to do that. As very, very few dentists get state grants or charity money, it's pretty unlikely that they'd waive or discount the fees. One thing to look into, is to see if you have a local dental school. They offer drastically reduced fees, in exchange for you allowing 8 students to hoover around and watch the procedures.

sorry to say no. I'm on SSDI i receive Medicare & Medicaid and it does not cover dental. Maybe the health department can help! good luck. If i go to the dentist there is no discount for lower income or disabled.

I am wondering if there is any help for dental work out there.?

I have dental insurance but can not afford my part of it. I have four teeth on top and it is unconfortable when I talk to someone or go for a job interview.
--------------------
So you are looking for cosmetic dentistry? No place is going to do that for free and insurance never pays for that. That's an elective procedure....not a necessity. You can try checking into dental schools near you. Some colleges and universities have them. They won't do it for free, but you could get work done at a very low rate.

Please help with health Insurance questions? (Dental)?

Ok, so I have a bit of a complicated situation. I'm going to New York in 4 months when I turn 18 to go to nursing school. I've had this all planned out for about a year now. My fiance already moved out there to get us a place to stay and a car and all that. Well, our plans have been going smoothly so far until today. I had a dentist appointment here in Ohio that my mom took me to and I found out that I have to get braces. Apparently I have to keep them on for a good year. And she said that she's paying for them but that if I get them, I can't move out of state until they are off because I can't change orthodontists. Now I don't know if she's just saying that because she doesn't want me to move out of state or if this is true. I thought that if I got them, then I could move to NY and just get a new orthodontist. She said that I have her health insurance until I am 22. I was just wondering, would I still be able to use her health insurance when I move to NY for my new orthodontist? Am I able to use this insurance out of state? Or should my fiance and I go ahead and marry before I get braces so that his VA insurance would cover it? Or does that insurance even cover it? What should I do? I feel like my mom is giving me the wrong information just because she doesn't want me to move. But if I can't move, that means our plans are ruined, and we'd have wasted all this time and money setting everything up for the move in March. Please help me? :( If you have any more questions or need a little more detail, please just let me know.

Your mom may not be giving the correct information. Here is what I would do. Call the customer service number for your mothers insurance and see if they would cover your work if done in New York. As to the VA insurance, your fiance could call them and find out if they have spousal coverage for orthodontics. These are the only ways you will know for sure. And just to be on the safe side, if they say they will provide coverage, make sure you get something in writing. Good luck to you Confused.

Why does the dental clinic requesting my SSN when they can just use my insurance ID #?

I went to a new dental clinic which I have never been to. I was kinda cautious of giving out my ssn # to anyone I don't know since not long ago, my credit card issuer former employee stole all card holders info. Therefore, I told the dental clinic just use my insurance ID# on their database for, but the dumb woman told me she needs my ssn in order to setup the file for me, and then I insist not to give her and she then told me she can use the insurance id#....what's going on here?
--------------------
There are ALL sorts of reasons WHY NOT to give out your SSN to just anybody who asks, you do NOT NEED to give your SSN to your dentist, they can always refuse to treat you, but you can find dentist who WILL. My dentist does not require my SSN and they get paid by the insurance that my employer provides. There is NO need for your dentist to have that number!
