its not to the point where its excruciating, but its getting there..even tylenol is not helping the pain subside. what could be causing it? Im 21 I havent yet had my wisdom teeth out..could that be the case. What a bad time to be stuck without dental insurance! :(
--------------------
Is there any chance it's gum disease? Do you floss once a day? Use any mouthwash? If you don't already floss and use mouthwash, I would start flossing and using Listerine Antiseptic. It could be your wisdom teeth coming it. Rinsing with warm salt water can help calm the inflammation. Try rinsing with it before you brush your teeth. If these things don't work, then I would see a dentist. Some medical insurance will cover wisdom teeth removal in certain circumstances.

would this be a bad idea?
I have been having severe tooth pain for several days now. I haven't eaten or slept very well since it started. my face is swollen and ora-gel isn't working at all. I put my fingers on the tooth and it moves slightly side to side. Would it be bad to take some needle-nose pliers and pull it out? I'm 37 years old and have never had problems with my teeth before. Would I be able to stop the bleeding myself? (no health or dental insurance!!!)

Some Dr. Offices will take payments for service. And it sounds to me that you already have an infection (because of the swelling) and how are you going to kill that when pulling your own tooth. Listen put the pliers down and get to the denist.

Root Canals Come in Threes?
I'm 41, had my first root canal in May. (which turned into a raging infection but after a 2nd round of super-strong antibiotics, cleared up.) I have heard, even from my dentist who said he had to have three in one year as did my sister, that at my age, the need for root canals seems to show up in several teeth fairly close together. Is this true? I ask this because, well, dang it, I have another toothache and no dental insurance! Thanks so much.
--------------------
I don't know but if you have a tooth ache don't wait because it could just be a simple little cavity which would be like 60 dollars to fill but if you wait it will definately turn into a root canal or extraction which as you know is quite expensive.

Tooth ache for the past two weeks! Help!!!?
It started two weeks ago when I had a bunch of junk food. My teeth started to hurt it's not excruciating -- it feels more like someone is lightly pinching you on the arm. I didn't take it very serious until today when I realized how long I've had this pain. This pain is coming from a broken tooth that I have about 6 months. I don't have dental insurance and I cannot afford $500 just for an X-ray and a tooth extraction. What is wrong with me?
--------------------
do you have a hole in there? maybe you have an infection. if the tooth is broken, you probably need to get a crown. pls see a dentist.

Needs ideas on husbands neglecting behavior?
I have had ongoing problems for years with my husband and control, seeking dominance over me and our children, but I think I have come out of the dark the past couple of years as to what he is doing and how to get around it to maintain my independence and self respect while I figure out how to end this relationship safely and financially for my childrens sake. Right now, I see his grasping at financial control more than ever to maintain his sense of dominance...its all he has left basically. He is refusing to pay his childrens dental bills, health insurance, provide money for school clothes. He will come across occasionally with $100 or so for gas and some groceries (there are 5 children involved). He says that unless his demands are met on how he is treated in this family, he will not pay nothing. Then, he says he is the man of the house and he will pay everything that needs to be bought and provided in his own way..whatever that means. Mean ing if he sees fit. Opionions please....

Anyone ever heard of American Income Partners?
I was offered this cause I was once in a Union. They said that this is insurance for Union employees. But I'm trying to find them on the net and I can't find anything except for Life Insurance. I was told by the rep that it was for health and dental along with life. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I used to work there. American Income (Life insurance company) offers a Partners Program as a supplement benefit. When I worked there, www.bestbenifits.com was the partners program website. Note: It's not insurance, it is a discount program. It is supposed to save you money on co-pays, eyecare, etc. It isn't just for union members either, that is just an advertising ploy to make it sound "special." You might save some money if your Doctor or Dentist is on the carrier list...most likely you won't though. More a less it's a way in the door to sell you life insurance.

My question is can i get medicaid insurance while collecting NJ Unemployment benefits..My income is 325$ weekly. Any information would be great... Thx

No you cannot. You can only get medicaid if you have a pre-existing medical condition. It doesn't apply to all low-income persons. You must also fall under the limit in income in your state. It varies.
