I need 6 teeth bridge to replace 3 teeth bridge & two capped teeth. Pls suggest an ind. dental plan, tulsa, ok?

I have had missing teeth since birth. My current dentist says that an insurance won't cover, because they said it would be fraud, for they will only cover what you currently have. I need to change plans if I can do the other.

Try calling the Tulsa Cosmetic Dental Center and speak to them about your options. They are very helpful and will be able to assist your situation.

I need dental advice?

I have not been to a dentist in many years because of no dental problems and no insurance. Just recently I have a on & off problem with my bottom front tooth and gum being sore. It goes away when I take asprins, but tends to come back again . I cant afford a dentist at this time. Any ideas what the problem could be?
--------------------
Idk cuz I'm no dentist but if I were u I would really go now while tha pain is not too bad and can b controled a lot better..no insurance? ur not tha first I'm sure they have other patients who have tha same problem..go 4 a cleaning and exams and have tha dentist take a look then..some times they have new patient specials that include xrays and a cleaning and often a exam too all for maybe 25-35 bucks (depending on area and practice too). Also, u can call tha office and explain to them u need and want to b seen for a check up and cuz u are having some pain and just let them know u dh insurance and if they could work with on a payment plan..b honest with them about how much u can afford to pay and make sure u pay on time (this helps them trust u a lil more and that u need in tha long run..never know what else will come up).U can check into some dental schools too it's a lot cheaper but it takes a lot more time too so, personally I would go with finding a dentist who understands ur needs and concern and one who is willing to help u. I would make a appt for a cleaning xrays and exam and pay for that in cash and full (idt u can pay half any way) and then go from there about ur pain and what could b going on and see first if they can set up a payment plan for u..if not get a small loan (only how much u need to treat tha problem) and then pay that off lil at a time..don't get one unless they can not work with u. If u need to talk more send me a email..I'm no dentist but I can try and help u as much as I can.

Do full-time, long-term, temporary jobs offer benefits...or does it depend on the company?

In my case, it would be with a large organization in which I already work for. However, I'm on the lower spectrum of things and hope this temporary job would help prove to people I have skills in other areas. I guess I have to hired first and I could always ask, but I was just wondering if anyone on here had experience with this. And by benefits, all I mean is health, dental, vision insurance.
--------------------
The last two temp companies I worked for both offered benefits. (of course they were completely self pay and not that great, but hey, they were better than nothing!) You can just call the agency at their main line and simply ask if they do and what the requirements are, and they will tell you. My first one required I be on the assignment for at least 30 days full time, and the current one made me wait 90 days, but both gave me the benefits:-) good luck!

Help I Live in Texas and Have No Insurance and my teeth are going to kill me if I don't get them pulled..?

I live in Texas and I have no income (my partner supports us) I have no car and No Insurance. My teeth are very bad and about to become a major health hazard. I cannot afford to see the dentist about dentures let alone pay for that procedure. Can anyone give me a direction on how I might be able to get dental care being uninsured and low income in Central Texas (Killeen area) Thank You.
--------------------
Well, you do have some options. I'm not from the Texas area, but based on what I would tell you about my area, you should be able to cross-apply some of this. First, you can consider going to a local dental school. Here you will be able to have the procedures done for a lesser amount that you could at your typical dentist's office. Second, consider going to a local hospital, especially one that serves lower income areas. Many hospitals have a dental department in them, and those dentists would also be able to treat you for less than a typical dentist's office. Third, you can consider applying for outside financing. If you (or your partner, or anyone close to you) has decent credit, you can try to apply for a few different programs. All the programs work the same: you charge out an amount, and the dentist's office will pay your interest rate so you pay no interest on the charged amount. For example, you could have a $1200 procedure done at 12 months interest free. That makes your payments $100 per month, which is better than trying to pay $1200 at once. One program is called Care Credit, another is the Citi Health Card, and a final one is through Capital One. Finally, you can just go to a dentist's office and see if they will work with you. Let them know your situation and see if they can help you. They may give you a discount or even give you very manageable payments. I know of one person that is paying off $25 per month on a $1,000 balance. It's all she can do, and the dentist's office was very understanding. You never know until you try, and you'll never know until you ask.
