22 y/o, pregnant, cant afford dental care. Suggestions?

I am 22 years old and my daughter is due next month. I am currently unemployed due to my high risk pregnancy. I went to the dentist for a check up and cleaning last year, and was charged $150 just for that. I was told I have 4 cavities that need filled, but theres no way I can afford it now. Especially with a new baby. I live in Tennessee, and the state insurance here only covers dental until you are 20 years old. Does anyone know of any other alternatives? Also, I cant find a dentist to do payment plans, without having basically perfect credit. They all think I'm too young and see it ask a 'risk.'

Try a dental training school

Do community colleges offer insurance?

if so what kind? medical? dental? vision? or would i have to look elsewhere for insurance

Most CC do not offer this type of insurance. Imagine if the CC did, it would crazy considering the fact that most CC can be universities.

I scraped the enamel off my teeth, what to do!?

I'm pretty sure this happened, because the back of my teeth are now soft, and I could feel slivers of hard flakey material coming off of them, I tried to clean my teeth with those metal picks from the pharmacy. I have no dental insurance and I'm broke. (hench trying to clean my own teeth.) It will be a while before seeing a dentist, what can I do in the meantime to help?

At first, you may collect as much information as you can by inputing the relevant keywords in search engine,if you get good luck there ,then your problem is solved.nevertheless,if you could not find the ideal answer for your question by doing that, here http://www.HealthInsuranceFree.info is the resource i suggest.

Do anyone know of a free clinic that will pull my teeth, in FortLauderdale, Fl? Or close to it?

I am in sooo much pain. I have no dental insurance, and I wanted to know of a free clinic that will pull this tooth out. Pleassse help me........

Not free, but the fees at the dental school in your area would be half that of a regular dentist. The dental school in Ft. Lauderdale would be the Nova Southeastern University's school of dentistry. Give them a call, and good luck.

health insurance for college student?

I'm currently a full time college student at 19 years old and looking for affordable decent health insurance. I don't work right now either and am still paying off a 2k dental bill with the money i had... (sigh) any good plans? (im in southern california by the way)

Agents vary in their opinions. I happen to be a fan of Health Net, rather than Blue Cross for my younger clients. Blue Cross has great marketing with their Tonic plans, but Health Net always beats them on benefits. I have some plans that my young clients have been very happy with, that have no deductibles for most of their care Also, since dental is an issue, there are number of plans that do very well in So. Cal. I suggest research on-line, but buy from an agent who knows the market and can help.
