The dental insurance through my job has a 5 month waiting time. I have a missing front tooth that got chipped off. I want this done soon so I can look good. Right now I am using a removable fake tooth called a "flipper". But I hate the thing and its hard to eat with it in. What are my best options on the insurance?

If i get dental insurance will it cover the cost for some of the work that has been done already?
I had a lot of dental work performed and it came out to around 7000. I have one more visit so that they can put in my crowns. I applied for a loan through Chase and now i have to make $288.00/month payments. So I'm wondering if i get some kind of dental insurance will it cover some of the cost?

No. Dental insurance will cover only those procedures started after the date of the first date of coverage of the insurance.

Can anyone tell me if there is any dental insurance and prescription med help for ppl under 55?
I know a couple who have young children and both work. They make too much money to get any help from the government but not enough to carry dental insurance for it is way out of their budget. Does anyone know of any other programs that may help them? The husband is in severe pain because of his rotting teeth. He is also diabetic and needs diabetic supplies that cost hundreds each month. Neither qualify for medicare for they are under the age of 55. Thank you for your help.

I would strongly encourage a visit to this site: www.healthsavings.ourperfectcard.com I signed up online over 5 years ago now for all my health needs and they have saved me thousands. From Doctor visits, cleanings, dentures, eye exams...etc. All services are included in this very affordable plan. All pre-existing conditions are accepted. I know for a fact that it does included diabetic supplies, I never had to use it for that reason, but it is in the coverage. They even had my benefits active in 2 hours and was able to use it the very same day. hope this helps.

How much/who are the personal health/dental insurance providers?
I'd like to know a bit about personal health insurance, considering most things on the internet are spam from scammers I'd prefer to know what the average person actually does when their job doesn't offer health insurance. I'm especially interested in dental insurance providers. Thanks for any information you can provide concerning this.

I need my wisdom teeth extracted. Is it worth getting dental insurance or will a discount card do?
I have wisdom teeth that grow in sideways (I believe that it's called impacted)...and I don't have dental insurance. I have a good job, but I also have a lot of debt that I'm paying back via my student loans...so I can't necessarily just go and buy insurance. Is there any tips? Should I just bite the bullet and get insurance?
